Happy New Year!

Hi everybody.

In a few minutes we will pass into a new year here in america. Norway have already celebrated the new year for a few hours.

Today every single server was scheduled to work and I just love working with 3 tables instead of 4. This was a truly great day. Right now Trude and me are siting in an apartment with 4 italian people and we have been up since 6 (i woke up at 5 since Iselin set the alarm wrong) wich means we are tired and just want to go to sleep.

Happy new year to everyone in Norway and to all my friends here in America.

Christmas has passed

This year I got to excperience a new kind of christmas. At work we had christmas lunch, secret santa and a christmas party and all this was fun. On christmas eve we made a "Norwegian" christmas dinner in our apartment. In the morning we had introduced our Italian and Japaneese roommates for Rice porridge the way we like it in Norway. And after that Me and Iselin took a trip to Saratoga Springs resort to take a swim in the pool. It was about 30 degrees celcius this day. Now the weather has changed and we all believe we will freeze to death every morning going to work.

On christmas day i went by Norway pavillion to eat some christmas food before Susan picked me up and we went to her house. After a while we got in the car and went to her husbands family. This turned out to be a very special christmas excperience. With real people and real food. Thank you all for inviting me.

For christmas I got a whole lot of stuff in my christmas stocking from my roommates. I got a beautiful frame with pictures from Trude. From my secret santa (It was Pam) I got a photoalbum and some really nice stickers for scrap booking. From susan and her family I got a toy horse (the kind on a stick you had as a child), some really good skin products and marshmallow snowmen to paint with some special eatable pens.

Long time no seen

Its been some days since i posted anything here. Today i vent ti The house of Blues for the first time. It was alot of fun. Me and Iselin had a full day of fun today with lunch on Prime time 50 s cafe, 2 movies at AMC, shopping and dinner in norway.

2 days ago i went to a party with people from the kitchen. Im having alot of fun and looking forward to christmas.

Want some crackers with that wine?

Today Trude and I was just complaining and wining at work and the manager Ruben asked us if we wanted crackers with the wine. We knew we were grumpy but the day just was no good!

When we got home we went to the outlet mall and had dinner. Then Trude bought a new movie and we watched it at my place. Nothing fun is happening these days. Im trying to get everything ready before i leave. Its not to long left now.

Anyway. I will post a picture and then i must go to bed. Me and Carlos is going to Disney University tomorrow to get our accsess card validated for nest year.

Sick- im in bed in front of the tv

Yesterday we had a lack of servers in the pavillion and i worked with twice as many tables as i usually do. Everyone working this day showed that if we really want to we can do great teamwork.

Today my cold is even worse that it has been the last days. Was thinking of buying gifts for the people at home today but i dont know if i have the energy. Anyway i have to give back the nice rental car today. Even if I really dont want to give it up..

The posting today is me in a christmas hat. Maybe it gives you a feeling of christmas.

long live the lazyness

Im lazy!! And so is Trude. We started the day great with sending christmas cards and going to the bank. And now we died in front of the tv.. In a little while the phone will ring and were going to Best buy beause Assignor-Iselin wants to buy a computer. Todays posting is from when we had a Norwegian breakfast by the pool. The girl to the right is yhe Iselin thats getting a computer today.

Yesterday i met egil in Tampa. I miss him alot so it was great to be able to spend some time together. See u next year egilen min.

Christmas for the tired people

For some reason the Norwegians in epcot stopped working.. Instead of all the 18 scheduled servers showing up for work these days its about 8 each morning that choose to come. This means 6-7 tables on each server. usually we work with 3 or 4 tables.. Some of us are now getting really tired and sick of having to work double and really hard shifts.

But even if these days now at work sucks I want to give everyone a happy christmas smile. Last week Susan and me took susans soon Spencer to the mall to meet santa for the first time. And todays posting is from this meeting. I think maybe we had more fun than little Spencer.

And tomorrow im going to tampa to see egil. Finally a day with just relaxing. If work calls... Im dead!!

My foot is in pain..

Today i had a long day at work. I hurt my foot working yesterday and today i was jumping around and that is a really painful things sometimes.
I got my contract from Tusenfryd in the mail today so it feels even closer until im going home now. I look forward to a summer with alot of new excperiences even if i will be really sad to leave all my new friends behind.

Todays picture shows Iselin and me when we met Piglet on Character breakfast in Magic Kingdom. We went there a while ago with our japanese roommate Yuuri. A fw weeks ago we got a new roommate, she is from italy and has the beautiful name Elizabeth.

another early day..

Today i was supposed to eat lunch in the restaurant with my roommates but instead i have to go to work for lunch and dinner. Shit happends when people call in.. My posting today will be a picture of a couple of friends of mine. The picture is taken in Norway kitchen and Marcus and Joe are posing very nicely for it. You guys are great!

My first blog

Finally i have my own blog. I had a website but i never updated it so lets see if i will do this blogging better. I have been in Florida for soon 10 months and i still love beeing here. even if frustration at work comes up these days. But that usually happends anywhere you work so i dont spend all my energy bothering about it.
