I miss all of you

Hello!!

I have been home in norway for 1 week and this is a cold place. Its snow and 14 degrees or less. Im freezing!

Since i got home i have been working with the apartment to get it ready for sale and i have started intervieing people for the summer at Tusenfryd. Alot to do. I have met some of my friends and family but its not enough time to get to see them all.

But i really miss all of you in the states.. Hopefully i will soon see Ray in Ireland and some norwegians i will get a chance to see in norway soon.

my last day working for disney

Today was a sad day. A little crying.. A lot of goodbyes..

I worked as a seater in the morning.. and then i turned in the uniform and picked up my papers and final paycheck. Not only problemfree.. they didnt have the paycheck ready but in the end everything vent well.

After work me and Lindsay had a nice dinner at The panet Hollywood.

Today i will post pictures of some friends i will miss.. I will miss more people, this is just a small sample of pictures.

I love you all and will miss you alot. In 7 hours i leave for Hawaii!!

My last week as a server..

My last week as a server is coming up and im really sad, even if a small part of me is really happy to get to see my friends and family at home soon. Im trying to enjoy this last weeks together with friends and together we are creating alot of new memories for me to bring home.

This week I had dinner in Japan together with Iselin, Bjoernar, Jannicke, Nina who was visiting from Norway and Ninas friend. Erik and Silje from tusenfryd was supposed to come but the trip was cancelled because Erik could not find his passport..

The upcoming week is trudes birthday, so another dinner in Norway resturant is waiting for us on Tuesday. On wednesday me and Amanda is going to explore parks and on Friday night is a big leavingparty at the Ale House. Both Ray and me are leaving soon so this will be ,at least my, the final party.

Todays picture is me and Yuuri (my roommate from japan) at the lunch we had last week. My roommates are funny to hang out with and im gonna miss them so much!

Leavingday with 1612

Today all 4 girls from apartment 1612 had the day off to be together before i was leaving. We started out in Epcot with a lunch at the garden grill, we also took Trude with us- she belongs to our apartment!

In addition to the characters we met at the restaurant we also met some characters before that. I will post some pictures right here for you to look at.

Anyone not sick in Norway Pavillion?

The flue got us! Alot of Norwegians are now home in their apartments at the commons all day long just to try to get over sneezing and throwing up. Its a beautiful world at Akershus resturant these days.. ive been home today and will probobly stay home one more day before i return to serving people again. me and Trude got a small trip out for some food this evening, Ray picked us up and we went on a small leavingdinner for a girl in the kitchen at IHOP. Now im back in the sofa with my blanket and i will try to sleep some more. I hope everyone at home is NOT sick.

Happy New Year!

Hi everybody.

In a few minutes we will pass into a new year here in america. Norway have already celebrated the new year for a few hours.

Today every single server was scheduled to work and I just love working with 3 tables instead of 4. This was a truly great day. Right now Trude and me are siting in an apartment with 4 italian people and we have been up since 6 (i woke up at 5 since Iselin set the alarm wrong) wich means we are tired and just want to go to sleep.

Christmas has passed

This year I got to excperience a new kind of christmas. At work we had christmas lunch, secret santa and a christmas party and all this was fun. On christmas eve we made a "Norwegian" christmas dinner in our apartment. In the morning we had introduced our Italian and Japaneese roommates for Rice porridge the way we like it in Norway. And after that Me and Iselin took a trip to Saratoga Springs resort to take a swim in the pool. It was about 30 degrees celcius this day. Now the weather has changed and we all believe we will freeze to death every morning going to work.

On christmas day i went by Norway pavillion to eat some christmas food before Susan picked me up and we went to her house. After a while we got in the car and went to her husbands family. This turned out to be a very special christmas excperience. With real people and real food. Thank you all for inviting me.

For christmas I got a whole lot of stuff in my christmas stocking from my roommates. I got a beautiful frame with pictures from Trude. From my secret santa (It was Pam) I got a photoalbum and some really nice stickers for scrap booking. From susan and her family I got a toy horse (the kind on a stick you had as a child), some really good skin products and marshmallow snowmen to paint with some special eatable pens.
